Hi, I’m Ching-Lo,
an Author Accelerator certified book coach, and film sales professional.
I believe storytelling has the power to shift perspectives, bridge worlds, and make us feel seen and understood. A great story evokes empathy, immerses us in different lives, validates our experiences, and inspires meaningful change.
That’s why I created Story Compass—a book coaching brand dedicated to helping first-time writers craft emotionally resonant stories that move readers and stay with them long after the last page.
My strength lies in helping writers shape their big ideas into stories that connect with readers. I’m especially drawn to exploring humanity and the richness of the human experience. As an expat, I find immense joy in working with writers from multicultural backgrounds who are discovering their voices, whether they’re just starting out or embracing the stories they’ve always longed to tell.
With my background in film sales and a strong understanding of market positioning, I also guide authors through the path to publishing. Beyond story crafting, I help writers develop pitches and queries that improve their chances of landing a spot on bookstore shelves.
